Credits and plans
Fawna runs on credits. Every generation (image or video) deducts a cost that depends on the model tier, the duration, and the quality setting. This page explains the pricing logic so nothing is a surprise.
How credits work
One credit is the smallest unit of spend. Video tiers are priced in credits per second: the cost of a generation is the per-second rate multiplied by the clip length. Image tiers are priced per image: the cost is the per-image rate multiplied by the number of outputs you request.
Credits are only deducted when the model actually runs. If a generation fails, nothing is charged. If you cancel before the job starts, nothing is charged. Reruns are billed like new generations because the model is running again.
Video tier rates
| Tier | Rate | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Fawna Cinema | from 104 / s | Cinematic all-rounder, multi-shot, synced audio. |
| Fawna Motion | from 64 / s | Long stylized, anime-capable, start and end keyframes. |
| Fawna Muse | from 64 / s | Image-to-video, most permissive, 9-grid refs. |
| Fawna Spark | from 40 / s | Text-to-video, fast, permissive. |
| Fawna Drama | from 32 / s | Live-action feel, character interaction. |
| Fawna Film | from 160 / s | Premium photoreal with optional native audio. |
| Fawna Film Turbo | from 32 / s | Film look at a lower fidelity and lower price. |
| Fawna Film Lite | from 12 / s | Cheapest of the Film family. Drafts and iteration. |
Image tier rates
| Tier | Rate | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Fawna Sketch | 10 / image | Storyboard image generation. |
| Fawna Illustrate | from 16 / image | Text-to-image. Fast, Standard, Ultra quality tiers. |
| Fawna Compose Turbo | 81 / image | Reference-driven image generation at lower cost. |
| Fawna Compose | 108 / image | Reference-driven image generation for character consistency. |
The "from" prefix matters. Resolution and native-audio settings can change the rate. Image quality tiers can change per-image cost. The composer previews the exact cost before you hit Generate.
Estimating a job
Before you click Generate, the composer shows the predicted credit cost at the top of the send button. The number updates live as you change duration, resolution, or output count. If you see a cost you don't want to spend, drop the resolution or switch to a Turbo or Lite variant of the same family.
Rough estimates for common jobs:
- 6-second Cinema at 720p: roughly 624 credits.
- 8-second Film at 1080p without native audio: roughly 1,280 credits.
- 4 Illustrate outputs at Standard: roughly 128 credits.
- 10-second Muse at 1080p: roughly 800 credits.
Topping up
You buy top-up credits on the Account page. Top-up credits do not expire and roll forward indefinitely. Monthly plan credits reset each billing cycle.
Refunds and failed jobs
If a generation fails for any reason outside of your control (infrastructure error, model provider outage, a content-filter trip that we confirm is overeager), credits are refunded automatically within a few minutes. If a generation completes but the result is unusable for your purpose, credits are not refunded, but you can use Rerun to try again with adjustments.
