Image & Video Generation
The Image & Video Generation tool is a chat-style generator. Pick a model, write a prompt, watch the result appear inline. Every image and video tier lives here. It is the place to sketch a scene, generate a character sheet, or pull a one-off shot without the storyboard overhead.
How to reach it
App top bar: Create → Image & Video. Or the Dashboard's quick-launch tile.
The interface
Three columns, left to right:
- Left sidebar
- Chat list. Each chat is an independent thread. Rename, pin, toggle privacy, or delete from the three-dot menu.
- Center
- Current conversation. Your prompts on the right, generations on the left. Scroll back to see every message.
- Right drawer
- Collapsed by default. Houses the Model drawer (pick a tier) and the Library (drag assets into the composer).
The composer
The bottom of every chat. Four parts top-down:
- Model strip: shows the selected model and its supported settings (aspect, resolution, duration, outputs, quality). Click any setting to change it.
- Reference row: slots for character refs, style ref, and keyframes. Only the slots the current model supports are rendered.
- Prompt textarea: free text.
- Send button: shows the live credit estimate. Press to generate.
Chats
Chats are self-contained. Model choice, reference uploads, and history live per chat. Create a new chat for each discrete project. The sidebar sorts by most recent activity.
The three-dot menu on each chat offers:
- Rename the chat.
- Toggle privacy: public chats appear on your profile and in Explore.
- Pin to the top of the sidebar.
- Delete. Deleted chats cannot be recovered.
The Model drawer
Open the Model drawer with the orange Model button in the sidebar or composer. A grid of tier cards slides in. Filter chips at the top narrow by capability:
- Text-to-video
- Image-to-video
- Keyframes
- Anime
- Audio
- Reference
- Permissive
Each card previews a short looping video of the tier's output. Click a card to select it; the composer updates to match the tier's supported controls.
Results
Each generation appears as a bot message with the clip or image inline. The three-dot menu on a result offers:
- Rerun: the same prompt and settings, fresh random seed.
- Branch from here: opens a new chat seeded with this message. Keeps the original thread intact while you iterate.
- Add to Storyboard: picks a destination storyboard.
- Add to Library: saves as a reusable asset in the current storyboard.
- Download the file.
- Share a public link (public chats only).
Library in the drawer
The right-drawer Library holds everything you have saved across all chats: generated images, uploaded references, finalized video clips. Drag any Library tile into a reference slot or into the prompt area to attach it. Library items don't expire.

Tips
- One chat per project. Keeps history tidy.
- Branch before experimenting. If a prompt works, branch to try riskier variations. The working thread stays intact.
- Check cost before generating. The live estimate on the send button moves as you change duration, resolution, or outputs.
- Build character sheets in Compose first. Save the frames to Library. Reference them in video-tier generations.
